I would first like to thank you and welcome you to our website and blog.  "Living the Fast" is created for you, your family, and Christians of all faiths who are seeking a deeper, more meaningful prayer life.  Our goal is to increase interest and awareness in the gift of fasting while providing informative and thought-provoking commentary that will help to inspire and deepen one's faithful prayer life. 

During these current times, evil seems to be working overtime to destroy and negatively impact both the individual and the family unit.  Our hope and prayers are that this website and blog will be able to help guide and strengthen your faith through weekly prayer and fasting.

We know that implementing the gift of fasting, combined with a prayer from the heart, will allow amazing things to happen in one's life and the lives of their family members. Our mission is to help others expand and enhance the faith of those we touch by enabling and guiding them into deeper communion with the Holy Family; St. Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. I pray the blood of Jesus over this website and over each of us who read, follow and promote this website to others.  Watch over us oh Lord, guide us and grant us the gifts of Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding each and every day.
