An Urgent Called to Prayer
INTRODUCTION
An Urgent Called to Prayer
Important Update: Apparition Schedule Change and Urgent Novena Request
Our Lady's Special Apparition to Marija on June 15, 2024
On June 15, 2024, Our Lady appeared to Medjugorje visionary, Marija, at approximately 6:46 PM. The apparition lasted about seven to eight minutes. Marija shared the details of this significant event in Croatian, Italian, and English. During the apparition, Marija presented all our needs and intentions to Our Lady, who then prayed over in her maiden language, Aramaic, and blessed us.
A Special Request from Our Lady
Marija, visibly moved, conveyed an urgent request from Our Lady: a nine-day novena starting tomorrow, June 16th. Our Lady asks us to gather on Apparition Hill every night at 11:30 PM for the next nine days.
Marija confirmed that during this novena, her usual evening apparitions at 6:40 PM will not occur. Instead, the apparitions will take place at 11:30 PM on top of Apparition Hill. This request was unexpected and profound, leaving Marija deeply moved.
Join the Novena to the Queen of Peace
The novena to the Queen of Peace is already underway in Medjugorje. Villagers and pilgrims traditionally ascend Apparition Mountain early in the morning, praying three to four mysteries of the Rosary. Marija will continue this practice, participating both in the morning and at night during the novena.
A Call to Global Prayer
In these challenging times, marked by global tensions and the threat of conflict, Our Lady's call for this novena is more crucial than ever. Whether you attend Adoration, step outside into your backyard, or find a quiet place to pray, please join us in saying the Rosary at 11:30 PM Medjugorje Time.
At Caritas, we will gather every night at 11:30 PM in the Field of Apparitions or at the Cross. Additionally, we will meet in prayer at 4:30 PM to unite with Our Lady on Apparition Mountain.
Stay Connected
Don't miss this opportunity for dedicated prayer and sacrifice over the next nine days. If you haven't already, please sign up for our mailing list to receive important updates.
Let us respond to Our Lady's urgent call with devotion and commitment.

Meditations
Meditation for Day 9
At that time Jesus said: "Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am, they also may be with me, that they may see the glory that you gave me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me. I made known to them your name and I will make it known, that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them." (Jn 17,24-26)
"Dear children! Today I thank you and I want to invite you all to God's peace. I want each one of you to experience in your heart that peace that God gives. I want to bless you all today. I am blessing you with God's blessing and I beseech you, dear children, to follow and to live my way. I love you, dear children, and so not even counting the number of times I go on calling you, and I thank you for all that you are doing for my intentions. I beg you, help me to present you to God and to save you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (Message, June 25, 1987)
Mary's prayer is revealed to us at the dawning of the fullness of time. Before the incarnation of the Son of God and before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, her prayer cooperates in a unique way with the Father's plan of loving kindness: at the Annunciation, for Christ's conception; at Pentecost, for the formation of the Church, his Body. In the faith of his humble handmaid, the Gift of God found the acceptance he had awaited from the beginning of time. She whom the Almighty made "full of grace" responds by offering her whole being: "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be [done] to me according to your word." "Fiat": this is Christian prayer: to be wholly God's because he is wholly ours. (CCC: 2617)
Prayer to the Queen of Peace
Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, Queen of Peace!
You came to us to lead us to God.
Obtain for us the grace not only to say:
"Be it done to me according to Your will!" but to live it as You did.
Into Your hands, we put our hands so that You may lead us to Him amidst these afflictions and woes. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Veni Creator Spiritus - Come Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, Creator, the best gift of God above, the living spring, the living fire, sweet unction, and true love. Thou Who are called the Paraclete, from Thy bright heavenly throne, come, take possession of our souls, and make them all Thine own.
Thou who are sevenfold in Thy grace, the finger of God's right hand, His promise, teaching little ones to speak and understand. O guide our minds with Thy blest light, with love our hearts inflame; and with Thy strength, which never decays, confirm our mortal frame. Far from us drive our deadly foe, true peace unto us bring, and through all perils lead us safe beneath Thy sacred wing. Through Thee may we the Father know, through Thee the eternal Son, and Thee the Spirit of them both, thrice-blessed Three in One. All glory to God the Father be, with his co-equal Son: the same to Thee great Paraclete, while endless ages run. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Your love.
- Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created.
- And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray: God, who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that by the gift of the same Spirit, we may always be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Traditional Prayers
Apostles Creed
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
Glory Be (Doxology)
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be world without end.
+Amen
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen
Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Apostles Creed, Our Father, and Glory Be (Doxology)
Hail, Holy Queen
(The Salve Regina)
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary Pray for us most Holy Mother of God, Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen +
Hail Holy Queen (The Salve Regina)
